Carp fishing is now probably the most common fishing around.
There are many carp fishing lakes to suit the serious specimen angler,
the match fishing angler and the person who just enjoys a bit of occasional fishing.
Carp originally came from Asia, and were introfduced into the UK in the 13th century.
Since then they have naturalised and ar now found in most waters in the UK.
Carp grow up to 60lbs, but most are in the 5-20lb range.
Carp fishing is well suited to the family.
Many lakes stock large quantities of fish in the 2-10lb range, so you won't sit on the bank and fish all day without a bite.
